Acceptable Use Policy

1. Whose lists you may upload

You may upload a guest list if:

• It is for an event you are organising, hosting, or working on for a client who is organising or hosting it
• You have a lawful basis for holding those names — usually because the people gave them to you, or your client did
• You are able and willing to answer if one of those people asks what you hold about them

You may not upload a list:

• For an event you are not involved in, out of curiosity or on someone else's behalf without their instruction
• Obtained from a data broker, scraped from anywhere, or copied from a previous employer or client without their authority
• That is a customer database, a membership roll, a staff list or any other list dressed up as an event

2. What the data may be used for here

Guest data may be used to produce place cards, escort cards, table numbers, menus, seating plans, floor plans and the entrance guide video for the event it belongs to. That is the entire permitted purpose.

Nor may you use this service to build a profile of anyone. There are no fields for relationships, notes about people or social strategy, and attempting to smuggle that content into a name field, a title or a dietary note is a breach of this policy.

3. Content limits

Do not use this service to generate or produce:

• Anything unlawful, or intended to harass, threaten or defame
• Depictions of real people, and in particular images of identifiable individuals presented as photographs
• Religious ceremonies, figures or sacred imagery — the tool declines these
• Any third party's logo, brand mark, trade dress or proprietary lettering, including hotel, venue, stationery and typeface house identities
• Text that impersonates another business, or that presents this output as another company's product
• Material that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or design right

Uploading your own typeface is allowed. Doing so means you confirm you hold a licence permitting commercial print use and embedding, and that confirmation is recorded against the design.

4. Technical limits

• Do not attempt to access another account, another account's events, or any part of the system you have not been given
• Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission
• Do not automate access to the interface, scrape it, or resell access to it as your own product
• Do not attempt to bypass the confirmation step, the export gate, the retention timers or the watermark on the Free plan. These are the mechanisms this policy exists to protect
• Do not upload anything designed to interfere with the service or with other users

5. Age

This service may not be used by anyone under 13. Users aged 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian's consent. Children's names on a guest list are ordinary third-party data and receive exactly the same protections as everyone else's, with no additional analysis or marking of any kind.

6. What happens if this is breached

For most breaches we contact you first, explain what we have seen and give you the chance to put it right. For breaches involving other people's data — a list you were not entitled to hold, or a list uploaded for marketing — we may suspend the account immediately.

Where we close an account for a breach, we do not refund the remaining period. Where a suspension turns out to be our mistake, we restore access and extend your period by the time you lost.
